Where do we fit? Are we electronic, rock, or house?

MX Missile has shared the stage with a wide array of players. We would fit best with a groove/dance type of audience but we love playing with everybody.

The unusual nature of MX Missile’s music has allowed us to play shows with folk rock bands (think Grateful Dead), metal bands, dub bands, jazz trios, techno-rock, electronic and blues acts.

The Music

It’s a jazz approach; using a trance/house composition, but using influences from rock, electronic, dub, punk, and dance styles of music.

Chemical Brothers, The Refused, Jimi Hendrix, Bela Fleck, Beastie Boys, Jimmi Smith, Bob Marley, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, The Police, DJ Shadow, Nirvana, Goove Armada, DEVO, Fatboy Slim, The Flaming Lips, Miles Davis, many many more.
